Questions

Who can enter?

A wellbeing business or an individual practitioner can enter the category that fits their work. Who each award is for is published with the category. Relevant professional requirements are checked separately from the score.

Can I nominate someone?

Yes. You can nominate a business or practitioner, including someone who is not listed on WellNear. Confirm your own email before the nomination is treated as verified. If you do not know their email, WellNear will contact them before inviting them to take part. A nomination is not a vote, and nominations are not published.

Is entry free?

Yes. Entry is free, and so is the standard certificate and trophy. A subscription, advertising spend or the number of nominations does not affect the result.

How are winners chosen?

Entries are assessed against the published criteria, using the evidence provided. A nomination is not a vote. A winner is confirmed only when WellNear records that decision. A category can be left without a winner.

What do winners receive?

A personalised certificate, a trophy for their category, a dated badge on their WellNear listing where they have one, and a dedicated winner profile.

When are awards sent?

Certificates and trophies are dispatched in December of that award year. Only activity in the published eligibility period is assessed.

What information should I include?

Describe why they deserve recognition and give specific examples of care or service. Do not include identifiable client health information or confidential treatment records.

Know someone who deserves recognition?
