WellNear is a trading name of SquareCode UK Limited.

WellNear’s role

WellNear helps people discover local hair, beauty, fitness, therapy and wellbeing practices and, where a practice publishes live appointments through CliniForm Pro, make a booking.

Treatment is provided by the individual professional or practice, not by SquareCode UK Limited. WellNear does not provide healthcare, beauty treatment or clinical advice.

Claimed and unclaimed listings

• Unclaimed listings use publicly available business information, such as OpenStreetMap and published practice websites. They have not been confirmed or managed by the practice.
• Unclaimed listings must not show WellNear online booking. Online booking is only available where the practice has a genuine CliniForm connection on a plan that includes live booking, currently CliniForm Pro.
• A WellNear listing is included with CliniForm Pro. It is not available as part of CliniForm Free or every CliniForm plan.
• Claimed status means the practice has taken control of the profile through CliniForm. It is not a guarantee of treatment suitability, quality or outcome.

Understanding verification

Where WellNear shows a status, it refers only to the check that was actually completed:

• Unclaimed listing — public business information that the practice has not confirmed.
• Verified practice — the practice has claimed and controls the profile through CliniForm.
• Verified booking — the reviewer booked and completed an appointment through WellNear. This is separate from a verified practice claim.
• Book online — the practice publishes live availability through a CliniForm Pro connection.

WellNear does not currently display separate public badges for identity documents, professional registration, qualifications or insurance. If a listing mentions credentials, treat them as information supplied by the practice or its CliniForm profile, not as a WellNear clinical ranking.

Choosing a professional

Before you book or contact a practice:

• Read the listing carefully, including location, services and any published policies.
• Check qualifications or registration that are relevant to the service.
• Ask the practice about experience and whether the service is suitable for you.
• Review price and cancellation information before you confirm.
• Contact the practice, not WellNear, about medical suitability.

Treatment and medical questions

WellNear does not provide diagnosis, medical advice or treatment. If you have a question about whether a service is appropriate, contact the practice or an appropriate healthcare professional.

Reviews

Login alone does not allow someone to review a listing. A public review is accepted only after a completed WellNear booking for that practice, once the appointment end time has passed. There is one active review per customer per practice. Unclaimed and contact-only listings do not accept public community reviews.

WellNear labels those reviews as “Verified booking”: the reviewer booked and completed an appointment through WellNear. That badge is not a medical verification, and it is separate from a practice-claim badge.

Moderation is for content, not sentiment. Positive, neutral and critical reviews based on a genuine visit are allowed. We may flag or remove personal medical information, contact details, hate speech, threats, harassment, spam, conflicts of interest, reviews of the wrong practice, fabricated experiences, incentivised reviews without disclosure, unrelated content, or clearly unlawful material. We do not remove a review merely because it is negative, the practice disagrees, or a business threatens to leave WellNear.

Where possible we ask the customer to edit a limited problematic passage instead of deleting a genuine review. Automated checks may flag content; they must not rewrite a review, change its meaning or rating, or automatically favour the practice.

Use “Report review” on a listing, or the contact form, if a review appears fake, abusive or otherwise in breach. Customers and practices can ask WellNear to reconsider a moderation decision. Safety or legal allegations are escalated internally.

You can report:

• Misleading listing information
• False qualification claims
• Inappropriate content
• Suspected impersonation
• Unsafe conduct
• Fraud
• Review abuse

Use the contact form with the safety topic selected, or include the listing URL in your message.

Urgent situations

WellNear support is not an emergency service and cannot intervene in a treatment that is already underway.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services.

Enforcement

Depending on the facts, WellNear may:

• Request evidence
• Correct information
• Remove content
• Suspend booking on a listing
• Restrict or remove a profile
• Preserve information where legally required
• Refer matters to appropriate authorities where necessary

We do not promise a specific outcome for every report.
