Awards terms

WellNear Awards is run by WellNear. Dates, territory, categories and whether entries are open are set for each award year and shown on the awards page. Those details are not fixed in these terms.

Entry

A business can enter itself. Another person can nominate a business or practitioner. Nominations stay separate from the entry until WellNear groups them. A nomination is not a vote, and the number of nominations is not a score.

A nomination is verified only after the nominator confirms their email. If the nominee’s email is not known, WellNear holds it for contact verification and then invites the nominee to accept and complete the entry.

Judging

Eligibility is decided separately from the numerical score. Judges score the frozen criteria for that round and record conflicts of interest. A winner exists only when WellNear records that decision. A category can be left unawarded.

Privacy

Do not send identifiable client health information or confidential treatment records. Contact details, evidence, judge comments and delivery addresses are not published. See the privacy notice for how WellNear handles personal information.

Winner package

The standard certificate and category trophy are free. No payment is required to receive that package. Dispatch follows the date configured for that award year.
