In-person or online counselling?

Some people prefer a room they can travel to. Others need an online session they can keep. The better format is the one you will attend.

A calm space prepared for a conversation

Choose the format you can keep

In-person sessions can feel more contained. Online sessions can be easier to fit around work or caring. Read the listing for which the practitioner offers, and whether a first meeting can be shorter.

A private space still matters online

If you book online, plan a quiet place and a stable connection. The practitioner should tell you how they work and what happens if the call drops.
